Review: A great product, when it's working.
First off, for the price, it is an excellent value. It's as stable as any high end and higher priced elliptical trainer. It runs very smooth and quiet. Although heavy, it can still be moved around due to the wheels in the front and and sturdy lift points in the rear. The display is very simple to program and does store previous run info for 2 users. It does also have a guest option as well. It has a port for an 1/8" jack with wire to plug in any mp3 player or ipod.
It's one MAJOR flaw is it's durability and reliability. There are simply too many issues with this machine. The first week using it, it developed and very nasty creaking sound that drove me crazy. After calling AFG, they sent me a part that wouldn't fit. Regardless, it wouldn't have mattered anyway since I was able to finally troubleshoot and repair it myself. It turned out to be a joint in the lower control arm that needed greasing. About 2 weeks later, the display stopped working as far as showing calories...
