Review: Fabulous elliptical, I don't get why it isn't more popular
Last year I had to make a decision. I had been using the Schwinn Airdyne Schwinn AD6 Airdyne Exercise Bike (Black) for a few years and loved the fact that I could work my arms and legs at the same time, unlike regular treadmills or other exercise bikes. But, when the Schwinn broke down for the third time, I knew it was time for something different.
I looked at a number of different elliptical options, but then a friend of the family who owns an exercise-equipment shop told me about the Keiser. I did research on it as best as I could, but there is very little out there about this elliptical! (That's part of why I am writing this review here.) There was a lot of information about Keiser spinning bikes, however, and for the most part the reviews were excellent. So I took a gamble and have been extremely happy... but now wonder...
